Experiencing great art on a daily basis inspires thought and creativity. I share my knowledge and passion with my clients, working closely with them to ignite and enrich a personal relationship with art.
I became an independent art advisor in 2014 after a decade working in the New York art world.
Buying art is both an aesthetic and financial decision, and I offer insightful, knowledgeable guidance on both.
My expertise in auction bidding and the secondary market set me apart from other advisors, and I have a trained connoisseur’s eye to assess quality and long-term value.
In addition, through my twenty-five years in the art world, I have deep gallery relationships and a strong reputation that help me to secure the most in-demand primary market pieces for my collectors.

A Manhattan native, I am a graduate of Amherst College and received my Ph.D. from the Bard Graduate Center. My dissertation was on the Contemporary sculptor Kenneth Snelson. I have also taught art and design history on the undergraduate and graduate levels, published essays and exhibition reviews, and given lectures on collecting.
I live in Manhattan with my husband, John, our daughter, Agnes, and a small fluffy dog named Roxy.
